Well... where do I begin? I am an aspiring writer who hopes to be a novelist someday. I have several drafts of novels written that are taking a long time to complete. They're getting there, though.

I love music. I play euphonium (basically a small tuba... if you still don't know exactly what it is, don't worry: almost nobody I know outside of band has ever heard about it) and some guitar. I'm not gonna lie, I suck at guitar, but it's something extra to do, and it makes me happy, so yeah. I love all music except for today's country music and rap. I love rock music the best, and The Doors is my favorite band (As you can see by my screen name).

I love movies. There's only a handful of movies that I've watched that I absolutely hated. The ones I've loved include The Big Lebowski, The Crow, Sin City, Spider-Man 2, and way too many others to mention. If you ever want to talk about any movies, any at all, I'm the guy you should talk to.

I am a Christian, Methodist to be specific, but accepting of other's beliefs as well. I am also a "member" of the Church of the Latter-Day Dude, a "church" devoted to going with the flow and getting in touch with your inner Dude. Just look up Dudeism and you'll understand. :P

I also love to read. Novels, graphic novels, etc. My favorite novelist is Stephen King, my favorite graphic novel writer is Alan Moore, and my favorite artists are John Romita, Jr., and Tim Bradstreet. I love anything published by Marvel Comics. You want to talk Marvel? I'm the guy to talk to. I do not like Twilight (surprise, right? A guy hating Twilight), and I do not like anything by James Fenimore Cooper (Though, the Daniel Day-Lewis version of "The Last of the Mohicans" is alright in my book).

My favorite writer of all time is Robert E. Howard. He was a great writer, and one of the major founders of the sword and sorcery genre, if not the founder (sorry, kids... REH was around LONG before Tolkien released his Lord of the Rings trilogy). It's a shame he died so young.

Well, after seeing my last journal entry and how ungodly depressing it was, I want to give whoever is taking time to look at this stuff (by the way, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING! :D ) a bit of an update.  Yeah, I'm still single.  I've fallen out of contact with my ex, and it's definitely for the best.  It still hurts sometimes, but I'm healing up nicely, if I do say so myself.  After many weeks of sadness and anguish, I feel like I've grown stronger each day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ax6UXyAXSZo Anyway, good news...
